The Oakland County Sheriffs Department & The Michigan Tactical Officers Association

Thanks to the efforts of the NTOA and the various state tactical and instructor associations, the “Patrol” rifle has come of age in American law enforcement.  We have come a long way in terms of training, policy, equipment, and tactics.  Its now time to give officers and their instructors a chance to put themselves to the test in an effort to gather information and acquire resources that will benefit their department's patrol rifle program.

The competition features events related and relevant to the patrol environment.  It focuses on moving targets, threat ID, movement, shooting under stress, alternate shooting positions, and multiple target engagements.  It also features concurrent Sponsor demonstrations so you can actually test the vendors equipment while you wait to shoot your next evolution. This is the 9th year this event has been held. In the past many agencies have sent officers to this event simply to accomplish training they can’t provide.

The conference features up to the minute information on equipment, ammunition, training, policy, engagement debriefings, and other topics from some of the top instructors across our nation that will benefit established programs, & is priceless for agencies seeking to start a program. It also includes a concurrent vendor exhibition.

Attendees can go to either or both events. Substantial discounts are available to members of various tactical and instructor associations as a way of repaying those associations for their educational efforts and support of the patrol rifle.

This one of a kind event seeks to give police officers, their instructors, supervisors & managers the opportunity to immerse themselves in rifle-craft for one to three days in an effort to provide them with resources & information designed to benefit their agency's patrol rifle program. So come join us in the suburbs of Detroit for training, competition, and camaraderie!!!
