The 2009 NPRC drew a lot of praise from our vendors & sponsors. We surveyed them and asked them what they thought about our event and how we could make it better for them in the future.

 

  1. The most overwhelming response we received was that they loved the manner in which the event was organized and the 1st class accommodations of the range and conference center.

     

  2. Secondly, they appreciated the opportunity to show and demonstrate their wares at the range during the competition and the fact that they were able to be included in the Awards Ceremony Dinner and sit in on the classes during the conference to learn e xactly what their potential customers are looking for and need!   

     

Upcoming in 2010:

June 6th  is the Competition; June 7th & 8th is the conference. 

  • Sunday June 6th is a Long day as we have the competition, the Sponsor & Vendor Appreciation Reception from 5:30p-7p and the Competition Awards Ceremony and Dinner from 7p-10p followed by the Hospitality Suite
  • Monday June 7th starts the conference from 8a-5p. Sponsor & Vendor Reception 5p-7p.  Hospitality Suite to follow. 
  • Tuesday, June 8th the conference will run from 9a-1p.

     

For 2010we are conservatively e xpecting the following:

 

 

  1. Between 150-200 shooters for the competition, plus spectators to include fellow officers, family, and conservation club members that could push attendance at this one day event up to 250-400 people.

     

  2. Between 250-500 attendees for the conference, plus the potential for additional walk through traffic as we are attempting to market the conference as a “vendor e xhibition” to draw attendees from Metro Detroit law enforcement who simply want to see the latest and greatest gear on the market. Details are still being worked out, but our vision is to charge a nominal door fee, of which a majority will be donated to charity, to draw these potential walk in attendees.

     


At Center Mass, we too attend the various tradeshows across the country, and our experiences have taught us what you the vendor is looking for when they attend a tradeshow or conference.  That being face-time with potential customers and decision makers, so when we plan the NPRC we do so with the following objectives in mind;

  1. Put on excellent training for the attendees in an organized, safe and secure manner.
  2. Enable the attendee to interact with all the latest and greatest gear and services on the market, in an effort to improve individual and organizational readiness.
  3. Accomplish the above in a formal and informal manner.

For the 2009 NPRC the conference location has been changed to the Detroit-Troy Marriott located in Troy, MI.  Many of our Sponsors & Vendors from 2008 commented that having the vendor area located in the same area as the conference was ideal and beneficial, as you can see in the image above, the layout of this facility is ideal for maximum exposure and interaction between the attendees and your company.  The three Refreshment and two Food stations are stragetically positioned to assist in channelling the attendees past our Vendor's booths every time they break or need to use the rest room.  We are very excited about the 2009 NPRC and look forward toward you & your company being a part of it.

Cancellations: Prior to 4-15-2009 your registration fee will be refunded less the 20% deposit & administrative charge.  NO REFUNDS will be issued after 4-15-2009.  We reserve all rights regarding what vendors we allow to exhibit, vendor location(s), and right to expel vendors for safety violoations or for creating a disturbance.
