Tactical Pistol Instructor School

5 days / 50 hours, $699.00 / Click here for complete course outline

This intensive course focuses both on “what to teach” and “how to teach it.”  Though an instructor development course, this course does in fact feature a higher volume of range time and dynamic shooting drills, as our aim is to impart techniques and tactics upon the attendee that they can take back to their agency and incorporate into their programs. There is no material in this course that is “competition” oriented, and all material is designed to be relevant to the law enforcement officer including those serving in concealed carry assignments. This course will feature an extensive coverage of basic skills and drills, then progress to a number of applicable courses of fire and advanced techniques. Attendees can expect a high volume of all of the following: Mmovement/shooting on the move, use of cover, low light, all manner of positions, one handed shooting, disabled officer/wounded re function techniques, and other relevant officer survival skills.  Our course topics are not taught “one way,” as our staff will present multiple options for various pistol techniques. A verity of very current, “news you can use” for instructor development topics will be covered, to include presentation skills, course of fire development, training liability and risk reduction, and other important areas. In order to accomplish this, we utilize a very aggressive schedule in order to provide the attendee with the most thorough and well rounded course possible.  Our instructors include a number of very experienced law enforcement pistol instructors, some of whom have military backgrounds, service with federal and local law enforcement full time training cadres, two of the major private training academies, and other venues.  We have assembled what we believe you will find to be one of the most comprehensive pistol instructor course in the country.
