This second generation evolution combines the best attributes of the original Tactical Sharpshooters^® Rifle Rest and our Mini-Sharpshooters^® Rifle Rest. The TSSR Generation II rest brings the steadiness required by LE for hostage rescue engagements and the convenience of being able to leave the rifle locked onto the rest while on a primary target area when the sniper is off the gun, with those attributes of our Mini-Sharpshooters^® Rifle Rest which include being lightweight and easily portable as desired by military snipers. These rests are by no means a replacement for a prone sandbag supported firing position. This system enhances our Mobile Sniping Package using a grip action ball head that incorporates a quick detachable plate that allows the user to transition from optic’s (spotting scope) to our battle proven Mini-Sharpshooters Rifle Rest for precision threat engagments (sniping).
